Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa

In my past few posts, I have been very vocal how stressful and tiring work is. Who said being a teacher is easy? WHO??!!! HAHAHAHA! Whenever there is a non-working holiday, I make use of that day to treat myself like grabbing some comfort food, watching movies that I like or going somewhere I've never been. For the July 29 regular holiday, my two other friends and I chose the latter. We searched for a good place to relax that is not very far from Manila. We picked Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa.

Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa is a resort nestled at the mountainous side of Antipolo City in Rizal Province. The name of the resort itself made me curious so I read some statements on what people have to say about Luljetta's. According to an article released by Philippine Star in October 2013, "Invigorate all your stressed-out senses at the Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa. Surrounded by lush trees and landscaped gardens, and overlooking Laguna de Bay and Metro Manila, the spa through its backdrop alone can already give you the best kind of relaxation that most spas in the city can only try so much to recreate".

The place was indeed relaxing but our one day stay there could have been better if the weather cooperated and the rain didn't greet us when we got to Antipolo.

Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa has three pools situated in different levels so you really have to go up and down the stairs to get to the different pools. It's a bit tiring but the view can compensate for the exhaustion. :)

This is one of our favorites - the hot Jacuzzi

The Hydropool

The Infinity Pool

As part of the one day package we availed, we had complimentary four-course meal during lunch and Antipolo suman for merienda.

Thanks to Jam and Wi for planning this mini getaway/relaxation day for us! At least for one day we were able to pamper ourselves. :)
