Beach Won't Kill My Vibe

The more I travel and discover places here in the Philippine and in other places as well, the more I prove that I am really an outdoor person. Yes, I can stay at home the whole day or become a homebody for days but I don't think I won't survive staying just at home for weeks or even months. There will always be something in me that makes me want to go out and go somewhere. I guess God has blessed me with feet that were destined to reach places. HAHAHA!

For this post, I would like to share my beach getaway with my childhood friend. We were just talking about hitting the beach one random day then poof we had this trip planned! We decided to explore the undiscovered side of Pangasinan - Burgos and Dasol.

Our first stop was Cabongaoan Beach which is located at the town of Burgos. The road going to Cabo Beach was a rough and long one but it was all worth it because of the serene and unspoiled beauty of the place.

When you reach Cabo Beach, I suggest you stay at Roven's Place Resort. Their place is the perfect spot along the beach because there are a lot of trees in their area so it's very shady and breezy. Also, the owner is very kind and nice! :) You may contact Mr. and Mrs. Inggo or Ms Venus Burlaza in this Globe number:(+63) 927-995-7608.

The pristine beach mesmerized us. Plus, we have the beach all for ourselves. :)

From Cabongaoan, we went to see another beach which is Tambobong. It is situated in the town of Dasol, Pangasinan. It is 30 minutes away from Cabo. Again, the ride was rough and rocky. When we reached Tambobong, I can't help but compare it to Cabo. Personally, I liked Cabo Beach more than Tambo. I think my friend Do-an will also agree with me.

Since it is just to two of us who went on this trip, it would be impractical to go on a private vehicle (plus I also mentioned earlier that the road is rough) so we commuted going to Pangasinan. It's very easy to get to Pangasinan since there are different bus lines that are bound to the said province.

1. Ride a bus bound to Bolinao/Alaminos then tell the driver to drop you at the Victory Terminal in Alaminos.
2. From Victory Terminal Alaminos, transfer to a bus bound to Sta. Cruz and inform the conductor to drop you at the Burgos Market. If you do not want to wait for the bus, you can ride jeepneys going to Burgos.
3. When you reach Burgos Market, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Cabongaoan and Tambobong Beach. You can also ask the tricycle driver to wait for you (if you are just going on a day trip).
