Come on Benguet Me!

Some say the most amazing trips are the spontaneous ones. I've been a longtime believer of this statement because a lot of my trips are spontaneous or are just planned a day before. Just like this little and quick trip to the North, we just planned it the day before we decided to go to Benguet Province. Now that it is just a 3-hour drive away from our place, it is really easy to push this trip through. Thanks to TPLEX (Tarlac-La Union-Pangasinan Expressway)!

I haven't totally explored the whole province of Benguet yet because my usual go to place is Baguio City. But this time, aside from Baguio, some of my relatives and I visited other parts of Benguet like La Trinidad and Tuba.

We went straight to Baguio City to grab some breakfast. We had breakfast at Solibao Restaurant.

After breakfast, we headed to La Trinidad to see the Strawberry Farm and buy some fresh strawberries (coz' these are one of my favorite fruits).

When we went back to Baguio City, we visited BenCab Museum. It's already my second time here but it's okay because I love the artworks displayed here. Art Appreciation day it is!!

Lunch at Canto in Ketchup Community. I read that their Ribs is good here so why not give it a try?

Our final stop was at Sitio Pongayan in Tuba, Benguet which is more popularly known as La Presa because of the teleserye Forevermore. The road going up to La Presa scared me a bit because it was too foggy and we barely see the road. But thank goodness we made it safely. :)

These view greeted us when we reached the vicinity of La Presa.

After few minutes of walk to reach the exact shooting place of Forevermore, finally..

Agnes' house and the bench where Xander and Agnes share some sweet moments together.. Waiting for my Xander though.. HAHAHA JUST KIDDING!!
